During the residency, Leo, Sarah and I didn't make any work together, or collaborate in the traditional sense. However, on putting up the show it became clear to us that we have shared influences and that the residency has impacted our work in different ways. The show worked as a cohesive whole and we were able to find links between our work - making, politics, nature, myth and stories, but also colour! It became clear through looking at the show just how much our close proximity had influenced our choices when it came to making.
I found the whole residency to be very important to me in terms of moving my work forward and working out what it is I want to do next. The show was a wonderful way to celebrate that. It was a good marker as we move onto the next thing.
